Since 1851, the YMCA has been so much more than just a fitness center. It’s a soft-spoken powerhouse, quietly bringing us all a bit closer together. A place where people from all walks of life show up for their health, their minds, and most importantly, each other.

So when we were tasked with creating a new brand platform for the Y’s 175th anniversary, we knew we wanted to reintroduce the world to its true impact, scale, and heart with the gravitas it deserves.

The platform is called “NO PLACE LIKE THIS PLACE.

And if you’re one of 11 million ballerinas/weightlifters/Olympians/tai-chi lovers with a Y story, you know firsthand how true that is.



We created an all-new design & messaging system for the Y, alongside a photoshoot with YMCA alum Marcus Smith.


We also created a ton of :15s, showing the unique collisions of activities & people you can only find at the YMCA.





And :06s for individual offerings.
